Operation Encompass
Operation Encompass helps schools support children who may have experienced or witnessed domestic abuse at home. If the police attend an incident at home involving a child in our school, they may inform us before the next school day. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) will make sure the child is supported and cared for when they come into school. Operation Encompass helps us to respond sensitively to children’s needs and ensure they feel safe, listened to and supported.
